Margaret M. Zwoyer, 84, of Fredericksville Road, Mertztown, died Thursday, April 5, 2007 in St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Reading. She was the wife of Charles J. Zwoyer, Sr. they were married on October 23, 1943.
Born in District Township, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph D. and Cora (Greiss) Kemp. She was a sewer at the former General Seating Company, Topton, until her retirement in 1987. She first worked at Keith Knitting Mill, Mertztown. She was a member of the Rockland Gun Club, Mertztown, and the Pikeville Sportsman Assoc, Pike Township, she was known as the “Chow Chow” lady of Fredericksville. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Huff’s Union Church, Alburtis.
She is survived by Husband, Son, Charles J., Jr. husband of Carol A. (Gift), Alburtis, Robert L. husband of Dana K. (Scheidt), Mertztown; Daughters, Carolyn D. (Zwoyer) wife of Eric Snyder, Port St. Lucie, Fl., Barbara A Zwoyer, Mertztown, Sandra A. (Zwoyer) wife of David L. Bausher, Fleetwood; 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 Step Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 Grandchildren and a Great Grandson.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis St., Topton. Interment in Huff’s Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
The family requests contributions to the Capital Improvement Fund of Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Rd., Alburtis, 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
