Margaret M Roth

Margaret M. “Peg” (Moore) Roth, 89, a resident of Berks Heim, formerly of Topton, died Sunday, January 25, 2015, in Berks Heim, Leesport .

Born in Avoca , PA , she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Elizabeth (Morton) Moore.  Margaret was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. She was a graduate of Avoca High School; and Lackawanna Business School. Mrs. Roth was employed as a bookkeeper by the former Lindgren Chrysler, Plymouth and Mazda Dealerships, Reading, for many years until her retirement. An adventurous woman, Peg enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles, and was an avid bird watcher .

She is survived by Daughters, Susan E. (Algar) Richman, Hamilton, NJ, Linda Algar, Aiken, SC; Sons, Robert A., husband of Nanette (Keiser) Roth, Lyon Station, James J., husband of Raeanne (Reinert) Roth, Kutztown; Stepdaughters, Barbara A. (Roth) Blair, Guanajuato, Mexico, Dianne P. (Roth) Smith, Fleetwood; Stepson, Phil K. Roth, Topton; former Husband, James F. Algar, Columbia, SC. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Stepson, Dr. Gary S. Roth, and Sisters, Elizabeth Ulin, Dorothy Ingham, Jeannette McGowen; Brother, Robert A. Moore; and former Husband, George Roth .

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 12:00 noon in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Relatives and friends may call Saturday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon.  Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family .
