Margaret E George

Margaret E. George, 84, of Fleetwood, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in The Lutheran Home at Topton where she had been a resident since August 2012. She was the widow of Daniel W. George who died August 12, 2012.

Born in Fleetwood, she was a daughter of the late Edwin J., and Susan (Heffner) Kutz. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Fleetwood. Mrs. George was employed as a packer by the former Farm Fresh Mushroom Factory, Evansville. She enjoyed Bingo, feeding and watching the birds, and walking her dog, Henry.

She is survived by Daughters, Susan A. (George), wife of James A. Snyder, and Sally D. (George), wife of Alfred K. Roth, both of Fleetwood; Sisters, Helen (Kutz) Yoh, Orwigsburg, Mildred (Kutz) Levan, Topton; Grandchildren, Aixia J. Zellers, Jody L. Gatto, Jennifer S. Dunkle, Jeffrey H. Potts, and Justine M. Potts; 4 Great Grandchildren, Brayden R. Horn, Connor W., Emma R. and Hayley M. Gatto. She was predeceased by her Sisters, Grace (Kutz) Seidel, Laura (Kutz) Wiltrout, Edna (Kutz) Einsel; and Brothers, Jacob Kutz and Edwin Kutz.

Funeral Services are Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:30 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday from 1:30 to 2:30 PM in the funeral home.
