Margaret E Clark

Margaret E. Clark, 79, of Topton, formerly of Effort, PA died Sunday, August 16, 2009 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was admitted on August 6 ^th . She had been a resident at the Lutheran Home at Topton for 20 years. Mrs. Clark was the wife of the late David G. Clark who died on April 14, 2006.

Born in Norristown, PA she was a daughter of the late Emerson C. and Florence M. (Nally) Webster. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Topton, where she served as a greeter and on the flower committee. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Clark’s Hardware Store, Brodheadsville, for 15 years retiring in 1985.

She is survived by Sons, David D. husband of Laurie V. (Liddell) Clark, Effort, Monroe County, Paul E. husband of Donna (Rooney) Clark, Wilmington, NC, David G. husband of Ellen (Hess) Clark, Westfield, MA; Daughters, Nancy D. (Clark) wife of John Kaminski, Huntington, MA, Barbara J. (Clark) Larson, Hardwick, MA; 12 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Services are Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM in Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Private inurnment at the convenience of the family. The family will greet friends following the Memorial Service.

The family requests contributions to Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
