Margaret E Carl

Margaret E. (Weigle) Carl, 97, of Topton, formerly of Monterey died Friday, January 14, 2011 in the Lutheran Home at Topton where she was a resident since December 2007. She was the widow of Paul A Carl who died October 18, 1967.

Born in Kutztown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Richard R. and Estella S. (Adam) Weigle. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers. She worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Saucony and Wenton Shoe Companies, both of Kutztown, for 20 years until her retirement in 1969.

She is survived by Sons, Richard G. husband of Goldie A. (Heffner) Carl, Mertztown and Dale P. husband of Betty M. (Dalton) Carl, Topton; other survivors include a Sister, Catherine (Weigle) Freeby, Kutztown; Brothers, Lee Weigle, Lenhartsville and Paul Weigle, also a resident of the Lutheran Home at Topton; and Grandchildren, Donna Moore, Randy Carl, Alan Carl, Danita (Carl) Fenstermacher and Paul Carl; Great Grandchildren, Jonna Moore, Danita Moore, Erik Carl, Tyler Carl, Jackie Carl, Zachary Fenstermacher, Logan Fenstermacher, McKaid Fenstermacher and Brandi Carl; there is also a Great Great Grandson, Landen Fenstermacher.

Funeral Services are Monday, January 17, 2011, at 10:30 AM from Hope Lutheran Church, 550 Fleetwood Road, Bowers. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the church.
