Margaret A Allender Angstadt

Margaret A. Allender Angstadt, 89, formerly of Kutztown and Bowers died Monday, November 24, 2008 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Lloyd G. Angstadt who died on March 7, 1988. Her first husband, Robert C. Allender, died on October 2, 1965.

Born in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lizzie (Miller) Helbert. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. She was a sewing machine operator at the former Kutztown Sportswear for over ten years retiring 1973. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer for 20 years.

She is survived by Son, Daniel R. husband of Toby (Dunne) Allender, Orwigsburg; Daughter, Kathryn A. (Allender) Frederick, Fleetwood; Grandchildren, Melissa A. (Frederick) Burns, Scott A. Frederick Kara A. (Allender Felker) LeBlanc; Great Grandchildren, Alayna S. Burns and Griffin P. Burns.

Funeral Services are Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Auditorium of the Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Interment in Union Cemetery of Bowers, Bowers. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to Meals on Wheels of Berks County, 10 North Fifth Street, Reading, PA 19601. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
