Mae P Eck

Mae P. Eck, 92, formerly of Mertztown, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Parkhouse, Providence Ponite, Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County. She was the wife of the late John R. Eck who died on June 12, 1989.

Born in Lehigh County she was a daughter of the late Cosmos N. and Eva M. (Dreibelbis) DeLong. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by Daughter, Carole F. (DeLong) wife of Ralph R. Merkel, Schwenksville; Sons, Rodney P. husband of Margaret E. (Hendricks) Kern, Breinigsville and Eric E. Eck, Reading. There are also 4 Grandchildren, Randy Kern, Brenda Rothenberger, Jan Marie (Rothenberger) Winchester and Richard Rothenberger, Jr.; 11 Great Grandchildren, Donelle, Nicole, Cortney, Stephen, Caitlin, Christopher, Grant, Randy, Ryan, Cullin and Veronica. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Marsha E. (Kern) Rothenberger.

Funeral Services are Friday, September 10, 2010 at 1:30 PM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Friends may call Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM in the funeral home.
