Mae H Reinert

Mae H. (Scheirer) Reinert, 87, of Mertztown, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the widow of Paul I. Reinert who died in 1966.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Dey) Scheirer. Mrs. Reinert was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis. She was employed as a trimmer by the former Fleetwood Shirt Factory, Fleetwood, for over 20 years, retiring in 1982. Mae enjoyed gardening, flowers, and watching her favorite television show. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who always put her family's needs above her own.

She is survived by Daughters, Carol A. Reinert-Kline, Fleetwood, Faye E. (Reinert), wife of Gene A. Kline, Topton, and Irene M. (Reinert), wife of Charles E. Stern, Fleetwood; Sisters, Gladys (Scheirer), widow of Elmer Fogel, Macungie, and Betty (Scheirer) Lamb, New Tripoli, UT; Brother, Robert, widower of Luella (Miller) Scheirer, Mertztown; 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren . She was predeceased by a Son, Ronald P. Reinert in 1985, and 2 sisters that died in infancy.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:30 AM in Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, with Reverend Jane M. Kropa officiating. Interment will follow in Huff's Church Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
