Mae H Fox

Mae H. Fox, 90, formerly of Kutztown, died Thursday, April 28, 2011 in The Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since October. She was the widow of Irvin J. Fox who died November 25, 1993.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Mabel (Fairchild) Haydt. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Kutztown, where she was a member of Women of Saint John’s, participating with candy making and church bazaars. She was employed as a custodian by Kutztown University from 1968 until her retirement in 1983. Prior to that, she worked as a cook at Kutztown Area High School and as a floral designer by the former Ernst Florist, Kutztown.

She is survived by Sons, Irvin C. husband of Darlene M. (Zimmerman) Fox, Kutztown, Harry J. husband of Patricia A. (Rollman) Fox, Bowers, and David J. husband of Robin J. (Kemmerer) Fox, Kutztown. Other survivors include Grandchildren, Stephanie A. Fox, Esq., James S. husband of Jodi S. (Bell) Fox, Kristyn M. (Fox) wife of Stephen A. Hughes, Katelyn E. Fox, Jill A. (Brodhead) wife of Justin R. Mogel and Cory D. Brodhead; Great Grandchildren, Sean B. and Noah J. Fox, Ashley M. and Andrew S. Hughes, Ava E. Kutz, Madylyn K. Gruber, Chase D. Brodhead and Raiden J. Mogel. She was predeceased by Brother, Harry W. Haydt.

Funeral Services are Monday, May 2, 2011, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Monday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
