Mabel S. Bieber, 98, formerly of Fleetwood and Tower Court, Topton, died Friday, January 16, 2009 in the Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Harry K. Bieber who died December 12, 1970.
Born in Ruscombmanor Township, she was a daughter of the late Warren K. and Lizzie (Sterner) Boyer. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She worked at the former Charles Wanner Stocking Factory, Fleetwood during the 1930’s and the former Ritter’s Shirt Factory, Fleetwood during the 1940’s.
She is survived by Nephews that she cared for, Lynn C. Nonnemacher, Kunkletown, Timothy C. Nonnemacher, Allentown, and Randy C. Nonnemacher, Fleetwood; Sisters, Esta S. (Boyer) widow of Earl Readinger, a resident of The Lutheran Home at Topton, Cora S. (Boyer) wife of Leon Haas, Fleetwood, Minerva S. (Boyer) Gauker, Fleetwood, and Grace S. (Boyer) widow of Harold Keiser, Fleetwood. She was predeceased by Sisters, Ellen S. (Boyer) Smith, Verna S. (Boyer) Bieber, Beulah (Boyer) Delp, Eva (Boyer) Hassler, Elda (Boyer) Border and Brothers, Earl S. Boyer, Warren Boyer, Harry Boyer, Luther Boyer and Ruben Boyer.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Dryville. Friends may call Wednesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Grace Lutheran Church, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
