Mabel M Kemp

November 11, 1912 — May 2, 2003

Mabel M. Kemp, age 90, of 239 Kemp Road, Barto, died May 2 in the Henry Health Care Center of The Lutheran Home, Topton. She was the wife of the late Elmer D. Kemp.

Born in District Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late William and Cora (Derr) Miller. A sewing machine operator, she worked for the former Bally Pants Factory before retiring in 1973. Previously, she was employed by the former Superior Knitting Mill, Bechtelsville. She was a member of the Lutheran Congregation of Huffs Union Church, Alburtis, and its Ladies Aid Auxiliary.

She is survived by Sons, Ernest W. of Barto, Kermit E. of Levittown, Bucks County; Daughters, Marian J. Stettler of Lyon Station, Shirley B. Fluck of Boyertown; Sister, Catherine C. Kemp of Bechtelsville; Brother, Albert of Macungie; 10 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 6, 2003 in the Lutheran Congregation of Huffs Union Church, Alburtis. Friends may call 9:30n -10:30 AM Tuesday in the church.

Contributions may be made to the Capital improvement fund of the church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
