Lynda R Sward

Lynda R. (Delancey) Sward, age 59, of 109 S. Home Avenue, Topton PA, died November 15, 2001 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township PA. She was the Wife of Gerald S. Sward, Jr. The couple celebrated their 38th Wedding Anniversary this past March.

Born in Pittsburgh PA, she was the Daughter of Rose (Hix) Delancey of Pittsburgh PA and the late Alfred Delancey. She was a Packer at East Penn Manufacturing Co. in Lyons PA for 23 years, retiring in June of 2000.

She is survived by her Husband and Mother; Sons, Steven S. Sward of Mertztown PA, Gerald P. Sward of Topton PA, Joseph D. Sward of Fleetwood PA, Daniel J. Sward of Topton PA and John W. Sward of Schnecksville PA; Sisters, Maryellen (Delancey) Compliment of Pittsburgh PA and Pat (Delancey) Gjebre of Hobart IN; Brother, Alfred H. Delancey of Kutztown PA; 9 Grandchildren and 3 Step Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2001 from the Ludwick Funeral Homes, 25 East Weis Street, Topton PA. Family and Friends may call 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton.
