Lydia M. (Zeiset) Nolt, 85, of Kutztown, died on Friday, December 9, 2016, in the residence she shared with her daughter, Lucy Z. (Nolt), wife of Edward W. Burkholder. She was the widow of Willis H. Nolt, who died March 18, 2005.
Born in Caernarvon Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late John M. and Lydia M. (Martin) Zeiset. Mrs. Nolt was a member of the Groffdale Conference of Mennonites, and attended Fleetwood Mennonite Church, Richmond Township. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by Son, James Z., husband of Martha S. (Weaver) Nolt; Daughters, Irene Z. (Nolt), wife of Eli W. Burkholder, Jr.; and Lucy Z. (Nolt), wife of Edward W. Burkholder, all of Kutztown; Suzanne Z. (Nolt) Martin, Genesee, Potter County and Marlene Z. (Nolt), wife of David H. Leinbach, Mohnton. Other survivors include Sisters, Mary M. (Zeiset) Horning, Emma M. (Zeiset) Horst, Alta M. (Zeiset) Sauder, Mabel M. (Zeiset) Martin, Laura M. (Zeiset) Zimmerman, Vera M. (Zeiset) Leid, Eva M. (Zeiset) Martin, Esther M. (Zeiset) Weaver and Lena M. (Zeiset) Ringler; Brothers, Paul M. Zeiset, Jonas M. Zeiset and Ivan M. Zeiset. There are 31 Grandchildren and 49 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her Husband and Parents, Mrs. Nolt was predeceased by Brothers, Martin W. Zeiset, Phares M. Zeiset, John J. Zeiset, Aaron M. Zeiset and Eli M. Zeiset; Sisters, Anna M. (Zeiset) Weaver, Edna M. Zeiset and Martha M. (Zeiset) Martin; and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016, at 9:30 AM from Fleetwood Mennonite Church, Richmond Township. Interment will follow in Fleetwood Mennonite Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held at her former residence, 61 Kempsville Road, Kutztown, on Sunday, December 11, 2016, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
