Ms. Lucy J. Dolny

Lucy J. (Lieb) Dolny, 80, of Fleetwood, died peacefully Friday, September 17, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  Lucy was the widow of Francis L. Dolny, who died April 17, 2014.  Born in Philadelphia, Lucy was a daughter of the late Anton and Crescentia (Mueller) Lieb.  She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, Bally.

Lucy was employed as a secretary at Teleflex, Philadelphia, then as a Nurse's Aide at The Lutheran Home at Topton, and finally as a presser at Kelchner Cleaners, Kutztown, until her retirement.

Lucy enjoyed gardening, puzzles, games, and watching game shows.  She also enjoyed reading mystery novels and opera music.  Most importantly, she enjoyed caring for and providing for her family.  Lucy was a member of Mertztown Rod and Gun Club, Alburtis.

Lucy is survived by three children, sons:  Matthew C. Dolny, Topton; Marcus V., husband of Kristin D. (DeLeo) Dolny, Fleetwood; daughter: Christina M. (Dolny), wife of Ricky L. Dey, Fleetwood.  Other survivors include: grandchildren: Alysha R. (Gieringer), wife of Dillon Jauch; Patrick J. Gieringer; Christian T. Gieringer; Joshua L., husband of Grace (Dunning) Dey; and Leo A. Dey.  There is a brother, George A. Lieb, Landis Store; and a sister, Matilda (Lieb), widow of Frank Sodano, Alburtis.  In addition to her husband, Francis, and parents, Lucy was predeceased by a grandson, Donavan Gieringer;  and a sister, Patricia (Lieb) Cosgrove.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, 10:00 a.m. from Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 610 Pine Street, Bally, with The Reverend Richard W. James, as celebrant.  Inurnment in Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally.  Relatives and Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the church.
