Lucille D. Hyrowich

Lucille D. "Lucy" (Beitler) Hyrowich, 76, of Fogelsville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 in her residence. She was the loving wife of Wayne G. Hyrowich, whom she married on March 12, 1983.

Born in Fogelsville, PA, Lucille was a daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Grim) Beitler and was a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School.

For 46 years, Lucille worked as waitress serving many people over her career. She started working at the former Sarah's Diner in New Smithville for several years. She then began working at The 3rd Street Café in Hamburg, where she became a co-owner and operator, serving countless patrons for many years.

Following her retirement, Lucille enjoyed spending time around her home with family and friends. Lucille's love and warmth extended to everyone she encountered, and she will be profoundly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Along with her husband Wayne, Lucille is survived by her daughter, Jodi Sheckler, Slatington, PA; two grandchildren, Isabella and Nicholas; and a sister, Denise Stoudt, Topton, PA.

Services will be held privately by her family.
