Lucille F Desrosiers

Lucille F. (Cunningham) Desrosiers, 88, formerly of Catasauqua, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown, where she was a resident since February 24, 2008. She was the widow of John B. Desrosiers, who died September 4, 2009.

Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was a daughter of the late Robert K. and Elsie J. (Feske) Cunningham. Lucille was a former member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.  Mrs. Desrosiers was employed at the former Sears, Robuck & Company, Allentown, as a switchboard operator, for over 30 years until her retirement.

She is survived by Son, John B. "Leo" Desrosiers, III, companion of Laurie A. (Moser) Heagy, Mertztown. Other survivors include a Sister, Gloria I. (Cunningham) widow of Theodore Cloud and a Brother, Robert L. husband of Ann S. (Kriner) Cunningham, both of Hagerstown, MD; Grandchildren, Michael Desrosiers, San Francisco, CA, Kristy Desrosiers, Laurys Station, Bradley Desrosiers, Kutztown. Lucille was predeceased by a Grandson, Daniel J. Desrosiers, who died March 21, 2014.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 1:00 PM in Longswamp United Church of Christ, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown, with Reverend Dr. Katherine E. Brearley, officiating.  There will be a viewing from 12:30 to 1:00 PM in the church. Private interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.
