Lottie E Eck

Lottie E. Eck, 96, formerly of Maxatawny Township, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she was a resident since 2007. She was the widow of Miles N. Eck who died on September 6, 1991.

Born in Ruscombmanor Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late John K. and Clara M. (Rader) Guinther. She was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She was a shoofly pie baker for many years at the church. She was a sewing machine operator at the former Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown, for 16 years retiring in 1979; prior to that she was employed at the former Fleetwood Shirt Factory, Fleetwood, for over ten years.

She is survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services are Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
