Loretta J. Kuzan

Loretta Joan (Geisinger) Kuzan, 80, of Kutztown, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Tower Health - Reading Hospital, West Reading. She was the widow of Kenneth F. Kuzan who died on July 29, 2018 and whom she married on June 21, 1976. Her first husband, David A. Eschbach passed away on January 21, 1972.

Born in Kutztown, Loretta was a daughter of the late Clarence L. Geisinger, Sr., and Anna M. (Oswald) Geisinger and attended Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church, Dryville. Loretta dedicated much of her life to serving others, working in the capacity of a server at Kutztown University. Her warm smile and generous spirit touched the hearts of many students and staff alike.

Loretta was a diehard Elvis fan and enjoyed collecting his memorabilia. She also loved flowers and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Loretta is survived by her children, David S. Eschbach, Kutztown, Troy A., husband of Karen (Chubb) Eschbach, Fleetwood and Holly A. (Kuzan), wife of David Willingham, Blandon; three grandchildren, Adam Eschbach, Alexis Willingham and Logan Willingham; two great-grandchildren, Ulysses and Benjamin; two sisters, Roxie A. (Geisinger), widow of Lester Hilbert, Topton, and Ruth S. (Geisinger), widow of William Seidel, Reading.

Along with her husbands and parents, Loretta was predeceased by her siblings, Merlyn L. Geisinger, Clarence L. Geisinger, Jr., Evelyn G. (Geisinger) Moser, Shirley Mae (Geisinger) Potzman, and Mary Jane (Geisinger) Miller.

A funeral service to celebrate and honor Loretta's life will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA, with The. Reverend Martin Milne officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Fleetwood (Dryville).

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
