Lorene P Witman

Lorene P. Witman, 75, of Apple Lane, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in Kutztown Manor Nusing Home, where he resided since September 2003. He was married to the late Nancy C. (Miller) Witman who died March 30, 2003.

Born in Longswamp Twp., Berks County, PA, he was a son of the late Robert J and the late Beulah E. (Gambler) Witman. He was employed as a fabricator by Atlas Mineral and Chemical Company, Mertztown, for 9 years until his retirement in 1993. Prior to that he was employed as a molder at the former Emmaus Foundry Machine Company, Emmaus, Lehigh County, for 36 years. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII.

He is survived by Sons, Barry L. Witman, Mertztown, PA, Leonard P. Witman, Breinigsville, Lehigh County, PA, Thomas R. Witman, Mertztown, PA, Eric L. Witman, Macungie, Lehigh County, Michael D. Witman, Strausstown, Berks County, PA, Elroy W. Witman, Topton, PA; Brothers, Kenneth F. Witman, Emmaus, Lehigh County, PA, Patrick R. Witman, Allentown, PA; 7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter.

Graveside services are Saturday, May 1, 2003, 10:00 AM in Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Garden of Honor, Topton, PA with Military Honors. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
