Lois E Toth

Lois E. (Boyer) Toth, 77, of Longswamp Township, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 in her residence. She was the wife of John A. Toth. They were married June 24, 1987.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry G. and Helen M. (Fenstermacher) Boyer. Mrs. Toth was a member of Saint Pauls Lutheran Church, Mertztown. She was a 1953 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and a 1956 graduate of The Reading Hospital School of Nursing, West Reading. Mrs. Toth worked as a Registered Nurse for 23 years at AT&T, Philadelphia, until her retirement. Prior to that, she worked 13 years for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Mrs. Toth was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 336, Kutztown.

She is survived by Husband, Sisters, Ann L. widow of Randall P. Gumpert, Monocacy, Union Township, Berks County, Janet E. widow of Gerald Petro, Lewisville, OH, Sue M. wife of Larry R. Hertzog, Columbus, OH and Mary wife of Lewis Christman, Fleetwood. In addition, there are 15 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a Brother, Willis G. Boyer in 1993.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:30 AM from Saint Pauls Lutheran Church, 50 Luther Drive, Mertztown. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, in the church.
