Lizabeth K Sikorski

Lizabeth K. “Beth” Sikorski, 53, of Woodside Avenue, Mertztown, died Saturday, August 11, 2007, in her home. She was the wife of Edward J. Sikorski. They were married January 30, 1981.

Born in Houston, Texas, she was a daughter of Charles F. and Wilma (Horning) Kissel, both of Alburtis. Beth was a 1972 graduate of Emmaus High School, and a 1975 graduate of Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, with an associate degree in Drafting and Design. She was a supervisor in the pole attachment division of PP&L, Allentown, for over 30 years, last working this past January. She was Catholic.

A message from Beth: To the friends and co-workers that have shared their time with me over the years I would like to say thank you for the wonderful memories. Thank you also for the prayers and concerns these past few months. We will meet again in a place where there is no pain and sickness. Please do not be sad for me because I feel complete with my life knowing that I have raised two wonderful children that have made my husband and I very proud. I leave you peacefully knowing that my children and husband will continue to lead good lives. Out of respect for my family I do not want a big funeral and therefore a memorial service will be held for my family members only. Remember me for all the good times and forget about the sad times.

She is survived by Husband, Parents, Daughter, Amy B. Sikorski, and Son, Alex E. Sikorski, both at home. In addition, she is survived by Sisters, Rebecca (Kissel) wife of Michael Spradlin, Emmaus, Kathleen (Kissel) Butz, Allentown, Theresa (Kissel) wife of Jeffrey McDermott, Emmaus; Brother, Joseph husband of Cheryl (Bacon) Kissel, Randolph, NY.

Private Memorial Services are at the convenience of the family. Inurnment in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville. There are no calling hours.

The family requests contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, Park Road North, Suite 105-A, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
