Liza B. Prudhomme, 94, of Sinking Spring, and formerly of Wichita, Kansas, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 in the Holy Family Assisted Living Manor, Orwigsburg, PA where she had been a resident since February of 2007. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Prudhomme.
Born in Grand Core, LA she was the daughter of the late Leon and Harriette (Rachal) Brossette. She was an elementary school teacher for over 25 years in the Catholic school system in Wichita. She was also a former social worker in Natchitoches Parish, LA. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Wichita.
She is survived by Daughters, Amy L. Prudhomme, New Orleans, LA, Gen Yvette wife of William Sutton, Sinking Spring, Liza Jo Rheem, Wichita; 18 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Harriette A. wife of Ronald Rivers, Wichita.
The Recitation of the Rosary is Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 7:00 PM in DeVorss Flannagan-Hunt Funeral Home, 201 South Hydraulic St, Wichita. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, June 4, 2007 at 3:00 PM in the Blessed Sacrament RC Church, 3820 E. Douglas St, Wichita. Local arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
