Linda Yost

Linda M. (Matz) Yost, 79, of Mertztown, passed away suddenly on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025 while visiting her family for Easter dinner. Born in Baltimore, MD, Linda was a daughter of the late Norman F. Matz and Media B. (Black) Matz and was a graduate of Emmaus High School.

Linda was employed by East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc., working at their Kutztown and Topton facilities for 20 years until her retirement. She was a dedicated member of the Lyons Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as a former President. She was also a member of the Topton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion, Topton. Linda enjoyed traveling and photography. Linda's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will be honored through the countless lives she touched.

Linda is survived by her two children, Karen Y. (Yost) Fox, wife of Justin Fox, Barto, and James M. Yost, fiancé of Holly Doran, Fleetwood; three grandchildren, Devin, Derric and Jenna Fox; and two sisters, Norma (Matz) Yeik, wife of William Yeik, and Melissa (Matz) Gekas.
