Lilly Hess

Lilly (Krueger) Hess, 96, of Topton, formerly of Center Valley, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Allen W. Hess who died March 29, 2004.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Theresa (Schmid) Krueger. Mrs. Hess was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Center Valley, and attended Grace Lutheran Church on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton. She worked as a waitress at various restaurants in the Lehigh Valley for over 25 years.

She is survived by Brother, Joseph Krueger, Del Mar, Calif.; other survivors include a Nephew, Daniel husband of Marlene (Seaman) Kline, Hamburg, along with several other nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, August 21, 2015, at 10:30 AM in Friedensville Cemetery, 2451 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley, PA 18034, with Reverend Carl Schmoyer officiating.  There is no viewing.

The family requests contributions be made to The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
