Lillian M Arndt

Lillian M. Arndt, 85, of Longswamp Township died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township where she was a patient one day. She was the widow of Paul W. Arndt who died August 24, 1988.

Born in Richmond Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey L. and Cecilia L. (Hottenstein) Heinly. She was a member of Christian Congregation Church, Mertztown. She worked as a seat assembler at the former General Seating Company, Topton from 1970 until its closing in 1987. She then worked as a laborer at GR Laboratory, Topton from 1987 until her retirement in 2000.

She is survived by Sons, David P. husband of Faye D. (Fricker) Arndt, Fleetwood and Dennis P. Arndt, Mertztown, with whom she resided. In addition, there are 2 Sisters, Perma H. (Heinly) widow of Charles German, Millersville, Lancaster County and Evelyn I. (Heinly) widow of Richard Gehret, Walnuttown.

Funeral Services are Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Friends may call Saturday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
