Leslie R Tomson

Leslie R. Tomson, 89, of Kutztown, died Monday, November 7, 2016, in Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township. He was the husband of Betty L. (Lippincott) Tomson. They were married September 24, 1958.

Born in Milford, NJ, he was a son of the late Emanuel and Frances (Walters) Tomson. Leslie worked as a truck driver over 30 years for Mannon Paving and Excavating Company, Flemington, NJ. He enjoyed working on and restoring old cars and trucks. Leslie enjoyed dirt-track racing, especially with his son, Timothy.

In addition to his Wife of 58 years, Betty, Leslie is survived by Children, Constance F. "Connie" (Tomson) wife of George Hartpence, Cullman, AL, Debra A. (Tomson) wife of Michael Gannon, Columbia, NJ, Frances K. (Tomson) wife of Scott Thorson, New Tripoli, PA, and Timothy L. Tomson, Kutztown. Other survivors include 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Tomson was predeceased by a Daughter, Cindy L. Tomson, in 1979. He was also predeceased by Sisters, Alvaretta Tomson, Edna (Tomson) Becker, Marjorie (Tomson) Rummel, and Brothers, Robert Tomson, Paul, Tomson and Emanuel Tomson, Jr.
