Leslie B Urwiler

Leslie B. Urwiler, 58, of Rockland Township, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, in Manor Care, Salisbury Township, where she was a patient for one week. She was the wife of F. Richard Urwiler. They were married December 4, 1971.

Born in Sumneytown, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of Katherine D. (Dibbs) Brode, Blue Bell, Montgomery County, and the late J. Russell Brode. She was a homemaker. She was a 1967 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School. She volunteered for over 13 years at the District - Topton Elementary School as a teacher’s aide.

She is survived by Husband, Daughter, Leigh (Urwiler) Lyons, Rockland Township; Step-Daughters, Nancy J. (Urwiler) wife of Henry P. Skoczalek, Philadelphia, Amy S. (Urwiler) wife of Parker Normann, Fairfax Station, VA; Step-Son, David R. husband of Martha Ann (Menger) Urwiler, Houston, TX; Sisters, Barbara B. (Brode) Henry, Sacramento, Calif, Christy A. (Brode) Frederick, Perkiomenville, Montgomery County; Brother, Jeffrey R. husband of Eileen (Reinhard) Brode, Blue Bell, Montgomery County, PA. “Weezer” as Leslie was affectionately known to Grandson, Miles R. Lyons, Step Grandchildren, Katherine J. Skoczalek, Jonathan P. Skoczalek, Sarah J. Skoczalek, Jacob P. Normann, Adelaide Y. Normann, Mary Beth Urwiler and Margaret E. Urwiler, will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial Services are Monday, July 28, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment is private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call, Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m.
