Leroy James Lesher

Leroy James Lesher, Jr., 81, of Macungie, died peacefully, Friday, August 23, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of Marie H. (Wetzel) Lesher, whom he married, January 9, 1971.  Born in Allentown, Leroy was a son of the late Leroy J., Sr., and Dorothy M. (Bower) Lesher.

Leroy was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to his wife Marie; children: Scott W. Lesher; Stacy L. (Lesher), wife of Matthew S. Nonnemacher; and Johanna L. Hall.  There are also four grandchildren: Dylan, Brody, Jack, and Anna; and two great grandchildren: Alyce, Leonidas, and one on the way.  Other survivors include siblings: William, Nancy, and Michael.  Leroy was predeceased by a brother Leonard.

Leroy was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.  He was a lifetime member of Nimrod Fish & Wildlife Association, Alburtis.  Leroy was a hardcore New York Yankees fan.

A dedicated employee of over 37 years, Leroy retired from Atlas Minerals and Chemical Company, Mertztown.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  There are no public viewing or calling hours.  Contributions may be considered in Leroy's memory to Nimrod Fish & Wildlife Association, PO Box 118, Alburtis, PA  18011.
