Leroy G. Weidner, Sr., 80, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 in Maidencreek Township, Berks County. He was the husband of Annabelle D. (Yoder) Weidner. They were married on January 9, 1944.

Born in Rockland Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Aaron and Ella (Gehris) Weidner. He was a plumber for Schuler Plumbing, Allentown, for 20 years retiring in 1996. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the Old Plow Boys, Bowers, PA.

He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Marcella (Weidner) Seachrist, Bellville, NJ, Rachel (Weidner) wife of Dale Latshaw, Hereford, Lisa M. (Weidner) wife of John Keebler, Sr., Gilbertsville; Sons, Randolph L. husband of Dorian (Heston) Weidner, Oley, Richard R. husband of Bonnie (Porter) Weidner, Slatington; Sisters, Mabel Geist, Bowers, Ella Seyler, Sinking Spring; 14 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by Daughter, Carol D. Weidner and Son, Leroy G. Weidner, Jr.

Funeral Services are Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 E. Weis Street, Topton. Interment with Military Honors in the Union Cemetery of Bowers, Bowers. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
