Leon A. “Butch” Grim, 79, of Kutztown, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widower of Sandra (Miller) Miller-Grim who died May 25, 2009, he was also predeceased by his first wife, Rose A. (Gracely) Grim who died April 29, 1988.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Florence (Stoudt) Grim. Leon was a member of the U.C.C. Congregation of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny. Mr. Grim was employed over 38 years as an assembler at Caloric Corp., Topton. Butch was a dedicated fan of NASCAR and the Philadelphia Phillies, loved to swear and sing along to country music.
He is survived by Daughter, Betty A. (Grim) wife of Mark E. Stump, Fleetwood, and a Brother, Dennis L. husband of Diane Grim, Mertztown. Other survivors include a Granddaughter, Alicia R. Stump, which he adored and was very proud of. Leon was predeceased by Sisters, Shirley (Grim) Moyer, and Betty Grim in infancy, and 4 Brothers, Charles, Donald, Richard and Robert Grim.
Services will by private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
