Leah M Landis

Leah M. (Webb) Landis, 102, of Topton, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Howard R. Landis who died March 20, 1981.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was the daughter of the late Manoah Webb and Callie (Hilbert) Webb-Dierolf. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Topton. Leah was a homemaker.

She is survived by Daughters, Joyce E. (Landis) wife of Ernest D. Meck, Wescosville, Thelma M. (Landis) wife of Metro Oleksa, Macungie, Brenda J. (Landis) wife of Walter J. Walbert and Muriel C. (Landis) wife of Kenneth L. Rauch both of Bowers; Son, Dale H. Landis, Kutztown; Brother John Webb, Frederick, Montgomery Co. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by Sons, Eugene W. Landis and Raymond R. Landis and Sisters, Verna (Webb) Helbert and Eva (Webb) Pergola.

Funeral Services are Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 122 West Franklin Street, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
