Lawrence S Seaman

Lawrence S. Seaman, 79, of Pershing St., Kutztown, died Friday, February 2, 2007, in his residence. He was the husband of Elaine A. (Schadler) Seaman. They were married September 23, 1950.

Born in Tilden Township, he was a son of the late William C. and Minnie E. (Rentschler) Seaman. He was employed by East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station for over 28 years. He first worked as a mechanic then as assistant foreman in the garage. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Kutztown and Lyons Fire Companies; and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Kutztown. He was a member of Saint Paul’s UCC Church, Kutztown.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, David R. husband of Barbara A. (Schmitt) Seaman, Mertztown, Larry R. husband of Sharon F. (Conrad) Seaman, Danny L. husband of Sherry L. (Herman), Steven P. husband of Doreen M. (Musser) Seaman, all of Kutztown. In addition, he is survived by 8 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Grandson, two Sisters and nine Brothers.

Memorial Services are Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich St., Kutztown. Inurnment with military honors in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
