Larry F Wessner

Larry F. “Lappo” Wessner, 71, of Richmond Township, died suddenly July 21, 2014 in the emergency department at Saint Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, shortly after arrival.

Born in Kutztown, PA, he was a son of the late William M. Sr., and Viola M. (Klopp) Wessner. Larry worked at the former Kutztown Social Club, Kutztown, as a bartender for many years; Prior to that he was employed at the former Adidas Shoe Factory, Kutztown. Lappo was a past Trustee and member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 839, Kutztown, Kempton Rod & Gun Club and Kutztown Fire Company .

He is survived by Daughter, Laura L. Wessner fiancé of Jesse E. Christman, Kutztown; Son, Matthew G. Wessner fiancé of Jaime M. Bougher, Lancaster. Other survivors include Sisters, twin Lorraine E. (Wessner) Kauffman, Reading and Sharon A. (Wessner) Moll, Kempton. He was predeceased by a Sister, Ruth (Wessner) Huber and Brothers, Donald, Richard N., Robert, William M. Jr. "Billy", Marlin W. "Fish", and Ronald J. "Homer" Wessner .

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn, officiating. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 AM in the funeral home .
