Larry D Creitz

Larry D. Creitz, 69, of North Maple Street, Kutztown Borough, PA, died Saturday, October 30, 2004, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown. He was admitted on October 29, 2004. He was the husband of Fern E. (Bohn) Creitz, they were married August 14, 1964.

He was a son of the late Paul T. and Sophie (Miller) Creitz. He was a tow motor operator at Mack Truck, Allentown for over 30 years retiring in during the mid 1980’s. He and his wife also owned and operated the former Orwigsburg Hotel, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, PA, from 1978 to 1988. He was a 1953 graduate of Kutztown High School. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Inc., Kutztown, and the Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, Kutztown (Greenwich Twp.).

He is survived by Wife, Son, Thomas P. Creitz, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, PA; Step Son, Michael J. Packard, Wellsville, York County, PA; Daughter, Michelle L. (Creitz) Bensinger, Pottsville, Schuylkill County ; Step Daughters, Jo Linda (Packard) Odegaard, Fleetwood (Maidencreek Twp.), Coleen L. (Packard) Scichter, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.); Brother, Ray G. Creitz, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.); 4 Grandchildren, 10 Step Grandchildren, 12 Step Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at 8:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Private burial in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood (Maidencreek Twp). Friends may call Tuesday, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
