Klanroy Keiser, 93, of Topton, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the inpatient hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the long-time companion of Ethel M. Schofer, with whom he resided.

Born in Longswamp Township, he was a son of the late Horace and Hettie (Yoder) Keiser. Mr. Keiser was a member of Saint Peter's United Church of Christ, Topton, where he was a member of the senior choir, and a former member of the church consistory and property committee. He was a 1940 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Klanroy was a United States Air Force veteran, serving our country from 1942 to 1946. He was employed as a tool and die maker by the former Caloric Corporation, Topton, from 1941 until his retirement in 1986. Klanroy was a member of Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion, Topton, Topton Fish and Game and Alburtis Rod and Gun Clubs. A musician, he enjoyed playing the organ and the mandolin. He also liked building and flying model remote control airplanes, building guns, hunting and fishing, and enjoyed science and history.

She is survived by Companion; Niece, Patricia A. (Breidigam), wife of Robert Kramer, Topton; Nephew, Dennis E., husband of Linda L. (Reeder) Breidigam, Alsace Township., Sister, Betty H. (Keiser), widow of Earl F. Breidigam, Alsace Township. He was predeceased by Brothers, Paul and Percy Keiser.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Roger M. Ulrich officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to Saint Peter's United Church of Christ, 121 West Franklin Street, Topton, PA 19562. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
