Kerry A. Minnich

Kerry A. Minnich, 80, of Kutztown, died Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Orwigsburg. He was the husband of Jane C. (Cogan) Minnich. They were married December 20, 1975. Born in Allentown, Kerry was a son of the late Harvey and Evelyn E. (Fox) Minnich.

Kerry was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Class of 1964. He was a skilled machinist, having worked over 40 years in his field, his last 30 at Amity Machine Corp., Alburtis, until his retirement in 2011.

Kerry enjoyed woodworking, he also loved cars and attending car shows. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, especially with his wife Jane.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, Jane, Kerry is survived by a son, Daniel A. Minnich, partner of Katherine E. Kramer, Kutztown. Other survivors include a sister, Janice (Minnich), wife of Lloyd Hixson, Newnan, Coweta County, GA. There are two granddaughters, Anna E. Minnich and Evelyn L. Minnich. In addition to his parents, Kerry was predeceased by two sisters, Carol (Minnich) Turan and Lucille (Minnich) Biehl.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family in Longswamp Union Cemetery.
