Kenneth L. Rauch

Kenneth L. "Kenny" Rauch, 89, of Bowers, died Friday, February, 13, 2026, in the Henry Health Care Center on the campus of The Lutheran Home at Topton, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Muriel "Moonie" C. (Landis) Rauch. They were married July 8, 1961.

Born in Longswamp Township, Kenneth was a son of the late Lillie (Hertzog) Rauch. Kenneth honorably and faithfully served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1953 to 1956.

Kenny began a career in Reinforced Steel Construction, consisting of bridge construction, overhead highway sign construction and guide rail installation on many major highways and roadways within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and surrounding states. He worked for Weber Steel, Kutztown; Hadden Safety, Downington; and O.W. Hubbell, Jonestown, during his career of over 40 years until his retirement.

Kenny enjoyed the great outdoors and was a nature lover. He also enjoyed war history and was an avid supporter of Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. He was also a life-member of Ray A. Master Post 217, American Legion, Topton, PA.

In addition to his wife of 64 years, Moonie, Kenneth is survived by a daughter, Dr. Karen L. Rauch, Bowers; and a son Brian A. Rauch, Kutztown. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Rauch.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kenneth's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will be held privately in Union Cemetery of Bowers.
