Kenneth L Adam

Kenneth L. Adam, 78, of Upper Macungie Township, died Friday, December 26, 2014, in Luther Crest, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of Betty A. (Kramer) Adam .

Born in Windsor Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Minnie (Bower) Adam. Kenneth was a member of Crossroads Community Church, New Tripoli.  He is a veteran of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Mr. Adam was a self employed tractor trailer driver until his retirement.  After his retirement he was a transportation driver for Luther Crest Retirement Center, Allentown, for over five years .

He is survived by Wife, Betty; Daughters, Dawn R. (Adam), wife of Richard B. George, Breinigsville, and Jolene M. (Adam), wife of Edward W. Schlegel, III, Krumsville. Other survivors include a Sister, LaJoyce (Adam), wife of Andrew Shrom, Tryon, NC; and a Brother, Lee, and his wife Mary Adam, Hamburg. There are also 6 Grandchildren, Connor, Sarah, Chloe, Austin, Hailey and Kaitlyn .

Memorial Services will be held Friday, January 2, 2015, at 2:00 PM in Crest Hall, on the campus of Luther Crest Retirement Center, 800 Hausman Road, Allentown, with Pastor Rich Fogal, officiating. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in Crest Hall. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family .

The family requests contributions be made to Crossroads Community Church, P.O. Box 460, New Tripoli, PA 18066-0460 . Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
