Kenneth C. Dornblaser

April 22, 1937 — March 25, 2023

Kenneth C. Dornblaser, 85, formerly of Alburtis, died peacefully, Saturday, March 25, 2023, in Mosser Nursing Home in Trexlertown. Kenneth was the widower of Doris "Dully" (Long) Dornblaser.   Born in Allentown, Kenny was a son of the late Claude and Verna (Gumph) Dornblaser.

Kenny graduated from Allen High School in 1955 where he proudly played for the Allen Canary basketball team.

Kenny worked for General Electric in Allentown for over 30 years before working 10 years at Air Products and Chemicals in Trexlertown, until his retirement in 1999.

He spent most of his adult life in Alburtis and was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, The Alburtis Rod and Gun Club, and the Nimrod Fish & Wildlife Association.   An avid fan of sports, Kenny loved rooting for the Phillies and Eagles. He had an incredible knowledge of sports and its history. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Kenny is survived by two sons: Terry L., husband of Susan E. (Boughton) Dornblaser, Doylestown; and Ricky D., husband of Crystal A. (Readinger) Dornblaser, Roanoke, VA. Other survivors include a sister, Jeanette (Dornblaser) Stoneback, Hellertown; and four grandchildren: Andrew, Christopher, and Nathan Dornblaser and Lindsay (Dornblaser) Simpson.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
