Mrs. Kathy J. Confer

Kathy J. (Kurtz) Confer, 68, formerly of Alburtis, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in The Willow Senior Living Community, Macungie. She was the widow of William E. Confer who died on November 26, 2018 and whom she married on May 13, 1974.

Born in Allentown, Kathy was a daughter of the late Harold and Shirley (Heffelfinger) Kurtz. She was a graduate of Rosary High School, San Diego, CA and was a homemaker. Kathy enjoyed cooking, selling produce from her garden, selling eggs from her farm, and enjoying her cats.

Kathy is survived by eight brothers-in-laws and 12 sister-in-laws and their families. Along with her husband and parents, Kathy was predeceased by her sister, Rose Kurtz; eight brother-in-laws; four sister-in-laws; two nieces and two nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate and honor Kathy's life and burial will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, 8269 Spring Creek Road, Alburtis, with Pastor Tyler Parry officiating.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Kathy's memory to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh Street, Suite 100, Allentown, PA 18103, in appreciation for the excellent care that she received from them.
