Kathryn L Shoemaker

Kathryn L. Shoemaker, age 85, formerly of Norristown PA, died Saturday, March 9, 2002 in the Henry Health Care Center of the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton PA.

Born in Norristown PA, she was the Daughter of the late John A. and Kathryn K. (Brecht) Longacre. She was a Member of the Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, Eagleville PA. She was a former Boy Scout Den Mother for Troop 267 Eagleville and a Green Cupboard Volunteer at the Montgomery Hospital, Norristown. She attended Friends Central School of Bucks County and was a 1934 Graduate of the George School, Newton PA. She attended Hood College in Frederick MD and was a Pi Alpha Sorority.

She is survived by her Daughter, Anna E. Burrows of Bowers PA; and Son, John A. Shoemaker, Sr. of Norristown PA.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday in the Church. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Kutztown PA.
