Kathryn H Nolt

Kathryn H. Nolt, 74, of 161 Old Bowers Road, (Maxatawny Twp.) Mertztown, PA, died Friday, February 25, 2005, in the family residence. She was married to the late Eli W. Nolt who died January 14, 2003.

Born in West Earl Twp., Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Peter H. and the late Elsie E. (Hursh) Gehman. She was a teacher at the Pleasant Hill Parochial School for 3 years during the early 1970’s. She also owned and operated the former Nolt’s Fabric Shop from her late residence for 15 years during the 1970’s and 1980’s. She was a member of the Groffdale Conference, Center Mennonite Congregation, (Maxatawny Twp.), Kutztown.

She is survived by Son, Ruben G. husband of Anna Mae B. (Weaver) Nolt, (Maxatawny Twp.) Mertztown, with whom she resided; Daughters, Sara G. Nolt, Sarasota, Florida, Elsie G. (Nolt) wife of Eli W. Burkholder, Greenwich, Ohio; Brothers, Titus H. husband of Susanna N. (Hoover) Gehman, Newburg, PA, Henry H. husband of Martha (Martin) Gehman, Mohnton, Berks County, PA, Eli H. husband of Hannelore (Zimmerman) Gehman, Aurora, Colorado; Sisters, Anna H. (Gehman) wife of Menno M. Wenger, Millersville, PA, Elizabeth H. (Gehman) wife of George M. Burkholder, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA, Naomi H. (Gehman) widow of Ivan S. Nolt, Mifflinburg, Union County, PA, Rachel H. (Gehman) wife of Martin R. Zimmerman, Colorado Springs, Colorado; 12 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a Son, Jason G. Nolt, who died in 1960 and a Daughter, Hannah G. Nolt who also died in 1960.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 1:00 PM from her late residence, with services continuing at 1:30 PM at Center Mennonite Church, (Maxatawny Twp.) Kutztown. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at her late residence, 161 Old Bowers Road, (Maxatawny Twp.) Mertztown. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
