Kathleen L Welder

Kathleen L. (Balthaser) Welder, 83, of Kutztown, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in her residence. She was the widow of Robert C. Welder who died May 8, 2011.

Born in Richmond Township, she was a daughter of the late Wayne J. and Ella M. (Stufflet) Balthaser. Mrs. Welder was employed as a furnace helper by East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc., Lyon Station for 15 years, retiring in 1992. Prior to that, she worked as a sewing machine operator by the former H.K. Deisher Knitting Mills, Kutztown, for 27 years.

She is survived by Nephew, Rocky D. Balthaser, Kutztown.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown.

Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
