Katherine M Reed

Katherine M. Reed, 57, of Orchard Lane, Boyertown, PA (Colebrookdale Township), died Monday, January 24, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, where she had been a patient since Sunday. She was the wife of Charles W. Reed. They were married 36 years last June 8th.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Donald and late Laura (Szymanski) Serpico. She was the Administrative Assistant at the Allentown Refrigerated Terminals, Boyertown, since 1982. She was a founding member of the Northwood Section of the Junior Women’s League, Philadelphia. She was a member of St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, Boyertown.

She is survived by Husband, Sons, Charles C. Reed, Harleysville (Montgomery County); Matthew D. Reed, Kutztown; 1 Step Granddaughter, Laura H. Stoudt.

Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, January 30, 2005 at 12:00 PM from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the church.

The family requests contributions to the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, Development Department, 6 Franklin Plaza, Philadelphia, PA 19102-1177. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
