Karla Shean

Karla J. (Shearer) Shean, of Fleetwood, died on her 67th birthday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Hobart E. Shean, who died June 30, 1994, and the companion of Kerry 'Klerp" Yeager. Born in Sellersville, Bucks County, Karla was a daughter of the late Karl D. Shearer and Henrietta H. (House), widow of Raymond O. Kuhns.

Karla was employed cook and waitress in several area establishments. She also worked at Sam's Club. She was a bartender at Blandon Fire Company. Prior, she was a sewing machine operator at the former Deisher's Knitting Mill, Kutztown.

Karla was a member of Fleetwood and Blandon Fire Company. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Karla is survived by her companion, Klerp; Children: Jeremy L. Reimert, companion of Nicole L. Bivens, Morrisdale, Clearfield County; Jessica A. (Reimert) Binkley, Slatington; Katherine M. (Shean), wife of Bradley A. Fisher, Hamburg. There are five grandchildren: Twins, Brittany L. Reimert; and Hailey M. Reimert; Brandon L. Kutish; Julian S. Reimert; Riley A. Fisher. Other survivors include sisters, Darlene J. (Kuryllo), widow of James H. Horne, Richlandtown, Bucks County, Linda L. (Shearer), Esq. wife of Thomas K. Noonan, Esq., Allentown; Diane L. (Shearer) wife of Lon R. Meisenhelter, Clearwater, Fla; Kim L. Shearer, Emmaus. In addition to her husband, Hobart, and parents, Karla was predeceased by sisters: Barbara (Kuryllo) Knauss; Wendy S. (Shearer) Chladni; Stacey Rae Kuhns.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Services and interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens will be private at the convenience of the family.
