Karl L Gambler, Sr.

Karl L. Gambler, Sr., 73, of Topton, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Shade) Gambler. They were married March 18, 1961.

Born in Topton, he was a son of the late Lawson and Esther (Guldin) Gambler. Mr. Gambler was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. He was employed in the shipping and receiving department at Glidden Paints, Reading until his retirement in 2003. Prior to that, he was employed as an assembler at Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton plant and also worked as a route driver for the former Topton Bakery.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Carla A. (Gambler) wife of Robert Kuser, Topton; Sons, Karl L., Jr., husband of Jennifer J. (Muth) Gambler, Mertztown, Scott A. husband of Stacey L. (Moyer) Gambler, Mertztown and Jeffrey L. husband of Michelle (Makeever) Gambler, Bradenton, Fla. Other survivors include a Brother, Neal Gambler, Mobile, Alabama; 6 Grandchildren, Heidi Kuser, Kyle Makeever, Noah, Corbin, Cohen and Haley Gambler. There is also a Great Granddaughter, Riley Makeever. He was predeceased by a Brother, Mark Gambler.

Memorial Services are Friday, April 19, 2013 at 7:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
