Karen A Bock

Karen A. Bock, 32, of 4242 Bobcat Court, Orefield, PA (North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co.), died Sunday, February 22, 2004, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, where she had been a patient since January 19 ^th .

Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph E. and the late Maryanne V. (Schueck) Bock. She was a registered nurse for 10 years at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, last working in 1998. She was a 1989 graduate of Parkland High School, Orefield; and, she received a Degree in Nursing in 1993 from DeSales University, Center Valley. She was a former Facilitator for the Lehigh Valley Lupus Support Group at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was a member of Longswamp UCC Church, Mertztown. She was a Sunday School Teacher for several years.

She is survived by Maternal Grandmother, Virginia (Engleman) Schueck Mest, Emmaus; Sister, Barbara A. (Bock) Jennings, Freeland, PA. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald R. Bock, April 29, 1993.

Funeral services are Friday, February 27, 2004 at 10:30 AM from Longswamp UCC Church, 200 Clay Road, Mertztown. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 AM until time of services in the church.
