June G Norton

June G. (Guibeson) Norton, 94, of Kutztown, formerly of Charlestown, MD, died on Saturday, December, 24, 2016 in Kutztown Manor, Inc., where she was a resident since 2005. Her first husband, Russell S. King predeceased her on April 29, 1962.

Born in Perryville, MD, June was a daughter of the late Samuel R. Guibeson and Mary (Lewis) Barnes. She was a graduate of Drexel Institute of Technology, now Drexel University, Philadelphia, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. Mrs. Norton was employed as a dietician at Crozier - Chester Medical Center, Chester, PA, for 15 years, retiring in 1982. An artist, June enjoyed watercolor painting.

June is survived by her two Daughters, Carolyn J. King, New Castle, DE, and Bonnie J. (King), widow of Jeffrey Y. DeLong, Kutztown; 3 Grandsons, Jacob K., husband of Lisa A. (Karwacki) DeLong, Delran, NJ; Twins, Gregory A. DeLong, Phoenixville, and Andrew W. DeLong, Kutztown; and a Great Granddaughter, Zoey Claire DeLong.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown.  Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
