Ms. June Elizabeth Miller

June Elizabeth (Landis) Miller, 77, of Kutztown passed away on Saturday, March, 6, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice, Allentown. She was the companion of Steve A. Skipper, Sr. since 2012 and the widow of Jay N. Miller, who died March 2, 2010.

Born in Allentown, June was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel (Dries) Landis. In her younger years, June worked at the former Collegeville Flag Factory. She later was employed by Kmart, working at their Tilghman Street location from it's opening until her retirement. Most recently, June was employed by Werley's Cleaning Service, working at East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc.'s at their Lyons and Topton plants.

June loved the outdoors! She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and taking care of her yard. She also liked working on her car, wood working projects and was always willing to help anyone.

In addition to her companion Steve, June is survived by Steve's son, Steve A. Skipper, Jr., and his wife, Samantha (Conrad) Skipper, and their son, Lincoln, of Saylorsburg; step-son, Preston Miller; sister, Nancy L. (Landis), wife of James E. Schaffer, Emmaus; brother, Ralph J., husband of Jane L. (Oswald) Landis, Kutztown; and 10 nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, June was predeceased by her two sisters, Jean Riegel and Starr Young.

A graveside service to celebrate June's life and burial will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Saint Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, 1809 Hoffmansville Road, Sassamansville, PA, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn officiating.
