June E Boyer

June E. (Rauenzahn) Boyer, 82, of Kutztown, formerly of Topton, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 in her residence. She was the widow of Gerald L. "Nup" Boyer, who died February 23, 2012. They were married October 18, 1952.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Edwin A. and Clara E. (Laird) Rauenzahn. Mrs. Boyer was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. She worked as a cafeteria worker at Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, for many years. June was a member of a local card club in Topton, and had a love for flower arranging, plants and gardening. She also was an avid crafter and enjoyed crocheting. June was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren. Her family was very important to her and she was looking forward to her upcoming family reunion.

She is survived by Daughter, Holly K. (Boyer), wife of Thomas J. Glennon, Olympia, WA; Sons, Rodney L., husband of Elisabeth A. (Ilgenfritz) Boyer, Wernersville and Troy A., husband of Sally A. (Lillington) Boyer, Kutztown; Son-in-law, Glen A. Landon, Sr., widower of predeceased daughter, Gale R. (Boyer) Landon, who died April 2, 2015; sister, Marjorie (Rauenzahn) Geiger; Brothers, Raymond Rauenzahn, Wayne Rauenzahn, Robert Rauenzahn, Forrest Rauenzahn and Patrick Rauenzahn; 6 Grandchildren, Andrea, Kyle, Jesse, Zachary, Samantha and Taylor; and 7 Great Grandchildren, Austin, Sydney, Kayla, Kearra, Lily, Ignatious and Bianca. June was also predeceased by a Brother, Edwin Rauenzahn.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 S. Home Avenue, Topton, with June's niece, Reverend Mary Ann Hamm, officiating.  Relatives and friends may call Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Inurnment will be private.

The family requests contributions be made in June's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 37, Topton, PA 19562-0037. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
